So, I'm still waiting for the package my parents sent me their photos from their time here. For that is really the next stage on my blog:)
followed Gasshuku. Therefore I tell just now what about my work, I've managed schliesslihc already three quarters of the time:)
I'm doing a little over one-month internship at Volkswagen Group Japan (VGJ) in the Marketing Department. My duties are different just like my work. In general, I have to do is almost always something. Besides my main tasks that I create some Power Point presentations on specific topics and to take care of the monthly sales of the company, do I make something here and there sort something. I think ultimately it comes as an intern never completely out of the thing.

addition to a super view of the area around the Tokyo Tower around me with the work quite a bit of variety. My Chef is German (VW nothing special), his boss is sending you and my fellow Americans are one exception, all Japanese. So you can say that I work on each case in an international environment. I speak either Japanese or English, which has the nice side effect that I learn in both languages a little, the business language.
At first I was not alone. A trainee course for one week and another trainee, who was here 5 months were still a few days with me here. And the old hare en Vond both gave me my first (likely) tasks explained. This made it even easier. He also showed me the life major restaurants and colleagues ^ _ ~
It went darker and darker
Every day there is going 9:00 to 9:30 (flexible working hours) and I had to stay until 6.30 to get a full 8-hour day. When I was busy and my duties were done, I was allowed to go once more ^ _ ~
Eventually I discovered the wonderful view once, the one from the 31st Stock and has had to make an effort not to constantly run to the window and look out. Especially since I've never seen Tokyo at night. Since I had already but with someone on the Tojo Shinjuku-building (City Hall, Government Building) arranged for it, I tried it went so well, just not before from constantly the window to squint.
delivery at the beginning also very great, namely because I have a different course with his back to the windows sat (which is why I am the beautiful sea views and only noticed so late).

In any case, the internship was for me so far been very helpful and I learned a lot, even to the Japanese work ethic. If your boss is not there, like now (mission), then doest here someone briefly or they are actually time clock at 5! Gibts so normally never do, where to stay until the boss goes, if you have to do or not. Today is his secretary that I instead always Tasks, or something to read about the company is, about an hour later. This is on the table, on which one enters when one is on holiday or even late. For me that means to do an hour is not, as my colleagues around me to either grade also have free (yes boss is on vacation, can this be done so) or simply do not have to do for me.
Friday is always the way, causal Friday, which means that other shirt un tie Traeger (where the dress code is nicth as strict as in the Japanese companies) today show up in jeans and a shirt. Women, too, although they have to wear a costume, but still business, are now a little looser. I am also wearing a pair of jeans, finally comfortable shoes and a chic purple knit sweater. Total fine and unobtrusive Andren between all. I adapt;)
So, the Sektretaerin Meinie bosses is there, you read it!
